Recap Home Loans was founded February 2021 in Dallas, TX. The company was founded with the goal of creating a new mortgage product that utilizes a borrowers cryptocurrency investments as additional collateral for a 100% financing loan product to purchase real estate.

Recap Home Loans is a full-service, first mortgage lending platform that accepts Bitcoin or Ether as collateral (in addition to the actual home) to offer 100% financing on the purchase of a home. We’ve structured this product as two separate loans per transaction, secured by two separate assets as collateral (real estate and either Bitcoin or Ether). The real estate serves as collateral for the first mortgage, and the crypto serves as collateral for the remaining purchase price (i.e. the borrower’s equity). Both loans are consummated at the same time, to the same borrower, and will be tied to a single real estate property – whether that be for a purchase or refinance.
